How AutoFit Pro handles your store's data

This Privacy Policy applies to AutoFit Pro (the "App"), built and operated by Md. Al Amin Islam ("we," "us," "our"), available on the Shopify App Store. It describes how we handle data when a merchant ("you," "your store") installs the App on a Shopify store.

This policy should be read alongside Shopify's own Privacy Policy, which governs Shopify's handling of merchant and customer data independently of this App.

AutoFit Pro only reads and stores store-level and product-level data that is necessary for fitment management to work. Specifically:

We do not collect data beyond what is required to generate fitment tags and power the storefront search widget described above.

AutoFit Pro is built to operate entirely on store and product data. We do not collect, transmit, or store:

• Customer names, emails, phone numbers, or shipping addresses
• Order, checkout, or payment information
• Customer browsing behavior or analytics
• Any personally identifiable information (PII) about your shoppers

• Field management — to let you create, edit, and organize dynamic fitment fields from the App admin.
• Tag generation — to convert the fitment data you assign to a product into Shopify product tags.
• Storefront search — to power the app embed block on your storefront, which displays your fitment fields, allows shoppers to select vehicle details, and shows products based on the configured fitment information.
• Store-product sync — to keep fitment data accurate whenever you add, modify, or remove a product in your store.

AutoFit Pro listens for product activity in your store (create, update, delete) via Shopify's APIs and webhooks, and reflects those changes in our database automatically. In practice this means:

• Adding a new product makes it available for fitment tagging right away.
• Editing a product's fitment data updates the associated tags without manual re-syncing.
• Deleting a product removes its associated fitment data and references from our database.

Fitment field definitions and product references are stored in a secure database infrastructure managed by AutoFit Pro. Access is restricted to authorized systems and personnel. All data is protected during transmission using TLS encryption, and database access is limited to systems required for the operation, maintenance, and support of the App.

While the App is installed

Your store's fitment and product reference data is retained for as long as the App remains installed, so that fitment search continues to function correctly on your storefront.

When the App is uninstalled

When you uninstall AutoFit Pro, all data associated with your store — fitment field definitions, product references, and shop information — is automatically and permanently removed from our database.

When a store is deactivated or closed

If your store is deactivated, closed, or removed from Shopify, Shopify notifies the App via the mandatory shop/redact webhook, and we delete the corresponding store data from our systems automatically — no manual request is needed.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your store's data. We share data only with the limited service providers needed to run the App, such as:

• Our hosting and database infrastructure providers, Railway (hosting platform) and Neon PostgreSQL (database service)
• Shopify, via its standard APIs, to read and write product and tag data on your behalf

These providers process data solely to deliver App functionality and are bound by their own confidentiality and security obligations.

The AutoFit Pro app embed renders the fitment search widget on your storefront. It does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and does not collect shopper identifiers. Any local storage used is limited to remembering a shopper's in-session fitment selections, purely to improve the search experience.

Although AutoFit Pro does not collect customer personal data, we comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks as part of the Shopify App Store requirements:

• customers/data_request — acknowledged; since we hold no customer data, there is nothing to return.
• customers/redact — acknowledged; since we hold no customer data, there is nothing to redact.
• shop/redact — triggers deletion of all store-level data described in this policy.

As a merchant, you may request a summary or deletion of the store data we hold at any time by contacting us using the details below.

AutoFit Pro is a business-to-business tool intended for use by Shopify merchants and store administrators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children through the App.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the App listing or directly to installed merchants where appropriate.
